Dear AAS Members and Friends,
Murdoch University Alumni Singapore Chapter is working in collaboration with AMKFSC Community Services (AMKFSC), a social services agency, to raise funds for vulnerable senior citizens for Flag Day 23 September 2017.
The Singapore Chapter Committee is seeking Murdoch Alumni to volunteer and support this community engagement event.
Preregister as a group and bring your family and friends for a fun day out.
Funds raised on this day will go into programs that support vulnerable seniors of COMNET Senior Services (COMNET), a project under AMKFSC.
COMNET aims to empower seniors in our community that experience financial difficulties, social isolation and mental health issues. COMNET had its humble beginnings from the Befriending Service, initiated in 2007. COMNET’s mission is to support vulnerable and low-income seniors to live independently and actively in the community. It aims to empower seniors to seek life satisfaction with the support of community resources. For more information about COMNET, visit here.
